Mr. Tangerine Man, music by Bob Dylan, lyrics and performed by Dady Brothers
To all who are sane in the world and waiting ever more angrily for Nancy Pelosi to Constitutionally ACT, and help save the Republic for our children

Going ahead with an impeachment process against President Trump will indeed be a scary test of the US Constitution's ability to Check and Balance the three powers of government under perhaps the greatest threat to the Republic since the Civil War. It ultimately did it well with Nixon and equally well with Clinton. Moving forward with the House's Constitutional right to draft Articles of Impeachment, that process could take us into the election season. It will bring the nation’s deep and dangerous divisiveness to the surface, and the facts uncovered through the Judiciary Committee's investigation to eventually propose the articles that justify impeachment to a full House debate will be fully disclosed to the electorate. The current Senate likely will not vote to impeach, but they may not get that chance before the election. And it's not just the impeachable offenses that will see the light of day, and which could so easily change the minds of enough Republicans in the Senate.

The U.S.A. Trumpet sounds a bit flat.
We of the New Millennium don’t worry about that.
The very same Trumpet, in times of yore,
Has emitted more sour notes than these we deplore.
The first, “Yankee Doodle” that ever was played,
When the, “Red, White and Blue” was for the first time displayed,
‘Twas not quite as true as one would have hoped –
The piper boy blew – for the true tone he groped.

Based on feedback, I guess I have not made myself clear. So I will attempt one last time to try to define what I mean by civility in political discourse. “Nevertheless I shall persist in trying.”

In spite of the current Cold War saber rattling between MAGA and Putin's version of it, I do speculate a bit if this wasn't sort of colluded upon by both parties. Building huge tubes that spurt unimaginable devastation is certainly a way to consolidate one's domestic power base... perhaps as penile extensions of troubled minds. The problem with such machines is similar to premature ejaculation. You really can't do much about it once it's triggered. And it takes the world's attention further away from the critical necessity to reduce and manage our destructive footprints on the planet's biosphere.

Brexit ain’t no easy exit
When it’s time to go.
E.U. tends to contract a bit
When you’ve gotta blow.
When the Big War’s guns grew silent,
Europe was a mess.
Then the Reds became a giant.
Living was all, “Guess.”

“In all of this, in any of this, there’s been no evidence that there’s been any collusion between the Trump campaign and President Trump and Russia. Let’s just make that really clear. There’s no evidence of collusion.”

While many Democrats won on November 6th, the candidate I was working for did not. People in my community ask me how I feel about that. Am I sad? Of course, but I am also not in the deep, depressive coma, state I thought I might be in. Strangely, I am still optimistic about the future of my county and even the country in general. No, I am not intoxicated. I just see much movement forward.
We have just gone through an excruciating few weeks. It was not a political one in the normal sense but more akin to a contact sport, where every spectator was physically affected. It has brought misogynists and chauvinists out of every nook and cranny and made some women feel as if ALL men are the enemy, although in their hearts they know better. But any reasonable man knows they have more than the right to feel that way.

There's a lot of hatred for men among the women in this country right now. If you're looking for me to tell you it's unjustified, you won't find it. Nearly every woman I know has suffered some sort of abuse, most of us more than once. Myself included. I'm not talking about being teased or passed over for a job. I'm talking about assault. I'm talking about being sexually molested as a child—I was twelve—and/or being brutalized like when my first husband tried to strangle me.
