There is nothing incongruous about “Danny Boy” sung in Spanish. Why not? Because of the San Patricios. Who the heck are they? During the Mexican-American War, many immigrants from Ireland crossed the border to fight with Mexico; that’s what they were called under their Irish banner. Why did they do that? They were treated better by the Mexicans.

scattering the sheets of paper over the lake i sent out boats to gather them in an order only you could understand. only then could i allow you to read the pages as i wrote them. yes only then. that would be appropriate.
treasuring the murmer of this breaking heart i begin to sing another song than the one i wanted to sing. i repeat the lyrics over and over again. missing a word here. a phrase there. i know you will remember it earlier than you thought possible.
A few months ago, I met Taiwanna Anthony on Facebook and we started talking. She told me about a radio show (CURT’S COMEDY CHAPEL) she works for and asked if I'd like to be a guest. I was unsure at first as it is billed as a "comedy" show, but I started watching thier Facebook Live casts (here is an example) and realized that they actualy used humor to tackle serious subjects. After a short conversation with Curt “LetitMarinade” Gaskins (the shows host) I figured 'what the hell, let's see if I can talk about the Idiot Free Zone in a way that might connect with their audience.

Okay. I’ll admit it. Much to my dismay, I collect Pez candy dispensers.
It began innocuously enough. My wife announced I needed a hobby to occupy my time and inquired what I would like to do. I’ve learned throughout the years she is quite the joker and assumed this was one of her less humorous jokes.
