Clothing Our Emperor

I see him there,

But, he’s not bare.

My every iteration

Will withstand examination.

What a snazzy suit,

Even without the, “Zoot”.

It sets off his prominence

O’er his reign of dominance.

Watch his trousers bloom;

Royal pantaloon.

And, that regal tie;

Lies there – my, oh, my...

There’s no other bracket

For that manly jacket,

Setting off his shirt of silk --

All of which disguises ilk.

Stable shoes allow him to stand,

To observe his endless land,

Comfortably ensconced in socks

Longed for by the finest jocks.

Does anyone imagine under-

Garments that contain his thnder,

So much so, a belt quite tight

Keeps his virility out of sight.

What magnificence there before us;

Prompts the, “Hallelujah Chorus”!

Hail the Emperor’s Parade!

How I love it; it’s my charade.

I know he’s name, but it’s no ploy;

Imagination is my joy.

Even though I dutifully abide,

I can still retain my pride.

Just betwixt you and me,

I am blind, and naught do see!
